The IAedu

Dedicated to the scientific and educational community, with the purpose of establishing a vital bridge between research, academic teaching, and harnessing the potential of generative artificial intelligence models in the market, iaedu emerges.

Framing

FCT's digital service for education and science

IAedu aims to be FCT's digital service, developed by FCCN, that seeks to democratize access to Artificial Intelligence.

This platform provides centralized and simplified access to large language models (LLMs), saving time and resources. It offers the Pro version of multiple Artificial Intelligence models for free within a single portal, through individual federated authentication.

It aims to democratize access for higher education students and researchers to emerging technologies, to promote equity and prevent inequalities in the use of resources that can transform learning and drive innovation.

Creating synergies and economies of scale through centralized procurement and provision is also our goal, while ensuring the promotion of efficiency through shared knowledge and collaborative learning.

Thus, the IAedu pilot project is born, complementing a set of more than 25 digital services from FCT, developed by FCCN, that drive Technology and promote Knowledge in Portugal.

Entities interested in joining this pilot project should fill out adhesion form.

Objective

Democratizing access to artificial intelligence

We believe that access to various large-scale language models should be democratized in order to empower researchers, educators, and students with the necessary tools to optimize their productivity.
